Two Successful Events in September

September was a fantastic month for the West Ridge School Society. We hosted two fundraising events for West Ridge school and the response was phenomenal. On Sept. 10, we hosted the first annual Maui Madness golf tournament which was a sold out event. Golfers ranged from teachers, parents and friends who putted and drove their way through some really fun holes hosted by our sponsors. Dinner, silent auction and prizes finished off the night. David Pelletier made a generous donation to the school which will be funding the Artist in Residence program.
Our Pub Night at 722 on Sept. 22 was also a really fun night and a great way for parents to get to know each other over a delicious burger and beverage. Once again, our sponsors supported the silent auction by donating some amazing gifts. Funds raised from these two events will go towards the band program, a digital  mixer for sporting events and drama, jerseys for our sports teams, and the purchase of a sport court.
Of course, none of it would have been possible without our amazing community sponsors and volunteers who put in many hours to make these events happen. The spirit of our community and dedication towards our children’s education is so inspiring. If you would like to get involved in planning or helping out with future events, please drop us a line at
